Client Spotlight: Lapacus

Lapacus is currently staying at https://www.cctwincities.org/locations/higher-ground-saint-paul/ shelter and working as a Machine Assistant for a local packaging company. When Lapacus came in for his appointment he had been using an envelope for a wallet and a rope for a belt. Thanks to generous in-kind donations from our supporters, we were able to give him a brand new wallet and belt, in addition to the required work items that he needed for his job: steel toe boots, a bus pass, and work clothes. Tears came into his eyes and his appreciation touched our hearts.

In a thank you note, he said, “I started working a new job and needed steel toe boots. The company wouldn’t let me work or in the building without them. Thanks for the help. I never would’ve believed people could be so easy to deal with if I hadn’t have come here myself. God bless. Yep!”
