Jameson heard about us from one of our beloved referrers, http://listeninghouse.org/ He is currently staying at https://www.cctwincities.org/locations/higher-ground-saint-paul/shelter in St. Paul and working as a cook for a local restaurant. In the not so distant past, Jameson traveled 40,000 miles per year as a ride operator with the carnival. He ran The Tornado – a ride that consists of people spinning in their own individual tubs as the whole apparatus spins in a dizzying circle. Imagine the screams! For his current job, Jameson needed black pants, shoes, and a bus pass. We happily gave them to him and his quick, easy laugh and stories of the road were greatly appreciated here in our office.
In a thank you note, he said, “Thank you for your assistance. I was hired as a cook recently. I haven’t been able to afford much for myself and for you to help me is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.”
