Dionne is currently staying at http://www.beaconinterfaith.org/ shelter and working as a CNA for an Assisted Living facility. Her favorite part of the job is tending hospice patients. Saying goodbye is difficult work and it’s clear to us that Dionne’s kindness and determined spirit make her the perfect person to have in the room when loving and letting go are the order of business. Dionne is working hard to create a home for her 15-year-old daughter and herself, and she needed a few things for her job, mainly Caribbean Blue scrubs. We sent her down to http://www.midwayuniform.com/ to select a few sets and also gave her comfortable shoes and a gas card to get to work.
In a thank you note, she said, “I’m thankful every day for the little things. In my line of work, if I can make one person smile my day is made. Thank you for what you do. The small blessings make a Huge Impact!”
